DEPENDENT ON HEALTH INSURANCE AND VAPH
After the two experiential stories we recorded last month of Dutch families, this time the story of Krista from Antwerp and her son Jorn. Jorn has Smith-Magenis syndrome which disrupts his day-night rhythm. This often keeps the whole family awake. A CloudCuddle can help. How nice it would be if they could be compensated quickly.
BANGING KEEPS EVERYONE AWAKE
"Day and night have turned around at Jorn," says Krista. "He wakes up every night and then it takes at least 2 hours before he sleeps again." And when he wakes up, he starts banging against the edges of his bedbox. That makes a lot of noise that wakes everyone up."
NO BANGING WITH CLOUDCUDDLE ....
"Like many parents, we tested the CloudCuddle at home. I found it very special to wake up in the morning and realize that I had slept through the night. Didn't wake up from Jorn's banging. CloudCuddle had absorbed the blows, so we didn't suffer from the banging."
.. OR UNEXPECTEDLY A CHILD AT YOUR BEDSIDE
When we sleep elsewhere, it's always a challenge to keep Jorn in bed. Until now we took a bed tent with us. This one is now too small and Jorn could open it himself. So he often stood unexpectedly next to our bed, keeping us awake. Then 'holiday' is anything but holiday. CloudCuddle gives us the peace we need. To Jorn it is his own trusted cocoon, and we have the certainty that he can't crawl out of it.
Soon a member of the Christian Mutuality (CM) will pass by. We have been on the waiting list for a long time. The CM has now sent the papers to the VAPH. Our family assistant has also helped to demonstrate the urgency. We recently tested the stronger version of CloudCuddle and it went even better. Friends of ours who are in a similar situation have received compensation. We hope that we will succeed.
