Substantial increase in sales of CloudCuddle mobile bed tents

PRESS REPORT

Zeist – November 2021

Since the relaxation of the corona measures, CloudCuddle has seen a significant increase in the sales of mobile bed tents for children with disabilities: CloudCuddle Junior. Given the strong increase, the number of CloudCuddles Junior sold in 2021 is expected to be 75% higher than last year and the growth will continue strongly in 2022. This growth coincides with the first steps in entering the German, English and French markets and the introduction of the CloudCuddle for seniors.

CloudCuddle Junior was developed as a travel product. Therefore, it was to be expected that there would be less interest in the compact bed tent in the period behind. After a stagnation due to limited movement by corona, the interest in purchasing a CloudCuddle has increased again. Based on the sales figures for the past quarters, the expectation is that 2022 will see a doubling of sales.

Room for internationalization

Plans to enter the German, English and French markets have been on hold due to corona. The recent easing of restrictions in our country and in the countries surrounding us offer the opportunity to take the first steps towards entering the German and English markets as long desired. Talks in Germany and France that were initiated before and during the stricter corona measures lead to prospects of cooperation with potential partners in both countries.

Test phase of CloudCuddle Senior

Over the past year and a half, CloudCuddle has made the best possible use of the restrictions by developing a new product: the patented CloudCuddle Senior, intended for vulnerable seniors in elder care. This bed tent is larger and even more sturdy than the CloudCuddle Junior, very handy and also quick to set up. Several prototypes have been developed in the past period. In the short term, the test phase will commence, with which the expectation is that CloudCuddle Senior can be launched on the market in 2022.
